Working as a key Victorian member and part of a stable National Sales Team you will join experienced professionals with a clear strategy driven by success and growth.
The salesperson in this role is ultimately responsible for the promotion of a wide range of solutions, to an existing customer portfolio. Added to this are the relationships that you will be required to build and maintain with new customers too. This territory carries considerable responsibility for the overall success of Victoria and ultimately the company’s performance. This is due to the customer demographic in the region, the product and brand performance and the salespeople that have previously worked in this territory. (The territory is vacant due to the previous salesperson receiving a promotion.) The proven formula for success in this territory is based on a high level of activity through calling on customers’ face to face, cold calling onsite to neighbouring prospects, chasing up opportunities and delivering consistent promotion of the brand. You will be the key contact for this region working closely with office based sales support staff.
The successful applicant will ideally have ‘downed tools’ a number of years ago to build a career in sales, where you have been applying your trade for the past 5+ years. You are currently growing a territory in Melbourne and are looking to develop your sales career with a market leader who will provide you with autonomy and opportunities to continue your career progression.
Salary and Benefits
You will be rewarded with a very respectable salary, plus super, a fully maintained company vehicle and all additional tools of trade, including an iPhone and iPad. A bonus structure is rewarded when certain KPIs and sales activities are achieved.
Please note that you will be required to work up to 5 weekends per year – attending trade shows, client events, exhibitions and other various sponsored events that your customers appreciate.
