His career in selling coincided with the arrival of the IBM PC on Australian shores in 1982. Over the next 18 years, ‘Pollak Partners’ became the leader in computer training. Pollak Partners became the preferred PC training organisation to banks (first with Westpac), computer companies (including IBM and Compaq), insurance companies (such as AMP), government departments and manufacturers.
A major win for the Pollak Partners organisation was the $1million project undertaken for IBM to design and develop the training material for all systems and volunteers for the Sydney Olympic Games.
